Article 3- Eco expo Asia- International Trade fair on environmental protection

This article tells us how Hong Kong  is hosting the International Trade Fair on environmental protection this year from 14 th October, 2014 till the 1^st of November. Around 480 exhibitors from  22 countries are participating in this fair. Eco Expo Asia is comprised of four themed days: “Global Green Initiatives”, “Waste Management & Recycling”, “Green Building, Energy Efficiency & Energy” and “Green Living” . On the last day the fair will be open to the general public. An eco-friendly car, bus and truck will also be displayed at the event. The BMW-i3 will be showcased as a part of the green revolution initiative by BMW. The electric bus is produced by Green Dynamic Electric Vehicle Ltd in collaboration with the Hong Kong Productivity Council, making it the first local Hong Kong-brand of electric bus . Thus the almost the entire world is now starting to show it’s concern for the environment because if awareness if not created will result in doomsday for everyone.

Article 2 – Centinela Solar – 170 MW Solar Power PV Plant completed by Fluor in California

This article shows how the Californian government has achieved a major milestone towards the green revolution. The 170 MW Solar Power plant is based in El-Centrino, California. It features about 875,000 solar panels spread over 1600 acres of land. Although the project is owned by LS power it will still be operated and maintained by Fluor Corporation, the firm that has built it. Fluor has also finished the construction of the Arlington Valley Solar Energy II facility, in Maricopa County,Arizona. Thus one Company has really recognised the need to make the world an eco-friendly place and protect the natural resources.
